Otoplasty

Otoplasty is a surgical procedure intended to correct the appearance of prominent or malformed ears. Also known as ear surgery, otoplasty can address a variety of cosmetic concerns, such as oversized, poorly positioned, or abnormally shaped ears. During the procedure, the plastic surgeon makes strategic incisions behind the ears to access the underlying cartilage. The cartilage is then remodeled and repositioned to achieve a more balanced and aesthetically pleasing profile.

Otoplasty not only has aesthetic benefits, but can also improve self-esteem and confidence in patients who have experienced discomfort related to the appearance of their ears.
