Botulinum toxin

Botulinum toxin, commonly known by its trade name Botox, is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment used to smooth and prevent the formation of wrinkles and expression lines. This procedure involves the controlled injection of the toxin into specific areas of the face, where it acts by temporarily blocking the nerve signal that causes muscle contraction.

By relaxing muscles, botulinum toxin reduces the appearance of wrinkles and lines, providing a smoother, more rejuvenated appearance. Botox is commonly used to treat lines on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes. It is a quick procedure, with visible results in a few days and little to no recovery time.
